Janitorial Assistant

Job Description:

The Janitorial Assistant plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within a designated facility. This position involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure the overall upkeep and sanitation of the premises. Responsibilities may include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces such as floors, windows, and restrooms. The Janitorial Assistant may also be responsible for emptying trash receptacles, restocking supplies, and reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel. Additionally, the role may involve operating cleaning equipment and adhering to safety protocols to minimize risks and hazards. The ideal candidate should demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Effective communication skills and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness are essential for success in this role.

The available position will have assignments in the Bay City area, with a majority of the work performed in the downtown area.  These assignments are performed in commercial, office, or other workplace settings. Typically, the work is performed 2nd shift from 3pm - 11pm. Experience is a plus, but not required.
